Release Notes 27.7.0

new Smart Issue Templates for Jira Cloud 🌟

Release Date: 2026-10-12

Platform: Cloud

Version: 27.7.0

Release notes:

NEW A banner on Templates, Scopes and Hierarchies announces the redesigned experience arriving at the end of October 2026, with a link to The new UI for what is changing and what stays the same. Hiding the banner keeps it away for 7 days, either from Hide for now or the new close icon in the corner.

IMPROVED The toolbar on the new Hierarchies view no longer carries the Classic view button. The classic list is still reachable from the empty state while High-performance storage has no hierarchies yet.
