IMPROVED The Choose SITC template field on the Create work item screen is much faster. On large sites it now loads in roughly 1-2 seconds instead of around 25.
NEW New Template apply behaviour setting on the Dialog Settings tab. Applying a template no longer has to overwrite what the user already typed on the Create work item screen. It is off by default, and once enabled you can protect Summary, Description and all other fields independently. Only fields the user actually edited are kept, so values Jira fills in by default, such as Priority or Assignee, are still set by the template.
NEW Summary is now optional in template content. Leaving it blank is a valid way to say the template does not set a Summary, so the user's own Summary is preserved.
FIXED Templates created with the Copy button now appear in the Choose SITC template field on the Create work item screen.
FIXED Setting up the Choose SITC template field no longer fails silently on sites with more than 100 projects. Confirm is now blocked when the selected projects resolve to no work types, and errors are shown instead of leaving the dialog stuck.
