New Features:

We added the ability to apply SITC Templates to existing Jira issues, providing the flexibility to select which fields to overwrite while leaving the remaining fields unchanged. Users can access this feature through a native dialog on the Jira Issue view page, making the process streamlined and straightforward.

With the added support for Issue Link and Epic Link fields for Templates and Hierarchy Nodes, you can save related issue links and apply them to the template or hierarchy. By keeping related issue links, users can easily navigate between issues and track their progress more efficiently.

Another enhancement to the app is the ability to choose a color for the Tag. It is possible to visually differentiate Templates and Hierarchies based on their category or status.

Users can also select an Icon for the Template, which can help quickly identify the issue type.

Added the notification for the app update, so you are aware of the new major version, including information on the new features and improvements. This will help teams that use Smart Issue Templates stay up-to-date with the latest version and take advantage of the app’s new capabilities.

The improved Product Tour v.2 enhances onboarding by providing new features, making it easier for new users to navigate and use the app.

To launch a Product tour, open the needed page and click the Learn More → Product tour of the page on the side navigation panel:
