Slack integration

Teams who use Slack have the ability to integrate Smart Issue Templates Notifications for the Hierarchies with the Slack Bot by the following steps:

  1. Create your Slack App

  2. Enable Incoming Webhooks

  3. Create an Incoming Webhook

  4. Copy the Webhook URL

  5. Go to the Smart Issue Templates menu in the Manage Apps section

  6. Select the Integration item in the left sidebar

  7. Click the Add a webhook button

  1. Select the Webhook name and parameters and paste the Webhook URL

  1. Click the Add button to finish

  2. Now the notifications by selected parameters will be shown in the Slack channel

Edit Webhook

  1. Go to the Smart Issue Templates menu in the Manage Apps section

  2. Select the Integration item in the left sidebar

  3. Click the Edit button in the webhook row

  1. Change the Webhook parameters

  2. Click the Edit button to save all the changes

Delete Webhook

  1. Go to the Smart Issue Templates menu in the Manage Apps section

  2. Select the Integration item in the left sidebar

  3. Click the Delete Webhook button in the webhook row

  1. Click the Delete button in the dialog screen
