History

Members of the Jira-admins group can view and manage the SITC action logs made by the users on the instance.

To see the logs follow the next steps:

  1. Click on Apps on the navigation bar.

  2. Click on Manage your apps.

  3. Find a Smart Issue Templates item in the left sidebar and click it

  4. Select the History item in the left sidebar

Here all main actions (Create, Update, Delete) will be shown for the Templates, Scopes, Hierarchies, Variables, and Templates.

The user who performed the action, the Name of the Template/ Hierarchy, etc., the type of Action, the Date when the action was performed, and the time when the action was performed are shown in the main table. To see additional details click the View button.

For an Update type of action, there are some additional details available that will help to see what data were updated. To view it click the Show previous value button. All changes will be highlighted:

Filtering the History

To filter the Users Activity on the tab click the filter button at the top of the page

There are filters by the date range, by the creator (performer) of action, and by action.

Clean the History

Logs history usually is cleaned by itself after the storage is full - the old data will be rewritten by the new one. But there is a way to delete this data manually:

  1. Click the Clean Logs button

  2. Select the options you need

  1. Click the Delete button
