Release Notes 4.0.5

new Smart Issue Templates for Jira Data Center 🌟

Release Date: 2026-10-09

Platform: Data Center and Server

Version: 4.0.5

Jira compatibility: 11.0.0 to 11.3.12

Release notes:

NEW Templates, scopes and hierarchies now move to Jira Cloud with the Jira Cloud Migration Assistant. Include Smart Issue Templates in the migration plan and its data is exported automatically, along with the project, work type and user references it needs in Cloud.

NEW A new Export data page lets administrators download templates, scopes and hierarchies as a file that the Cloud app can import, for sites that migrate without the Cloud Migration Assistant.

NEW A new Cloud Migrations page lists each migration the app took part in and what it exported, to help find out why a migration is stuck.

FIXED The Jira Cloud Migration Assistant no longer skips the app with a "missing a server listener" warning on Jira 11.

FIXED Multi-value custom fields in templates keep all their values when migrated to Cloud.
