Export and Import Function

Before the Export/Import process started:

  1. Prepare the Jira backup.

  2. Set the сustom fields for the New Jira Instance (Instance B) to correspond to the names, values, and types in the old instance (Instance A).

    1. Also, Jira users must set their usernames as on the old instance for the correct functioning of the user picker fields (Assignee, Reporter, etc.).

    2. For correct work of the Project picker fields, the Project Key on the New Jira Instance (Instance B) has to be the same as in the old instance (Instance A).

  3. Create the Scopes that will correspond to the New Instance B workflow.

To finish the Export/Import successfully, you have to set each Template contained in the current JSON file. You cannot skip the Templates.
