Scheduled Comments

The Scheduled Comments feature in the Smart Comments app is a user-friendly tool that simplifies your workflow in Jira. Anyone can write and schedule comments for automatic posting later with a few clicks. This handy feature ensures prompt responses and improved project management, making scheduling reminders or planning future discussions effortlessly. Automating communication enhances efficiency and keeps your team on track.

1. Compose your comment in the 'Add a comment' field, then select 'Schedule Reply'.

   

2. Choose the date and time for the comment to be posted, with the minimum delay set at one hour.

   

3. You can view and manage your scheduled comments in the 'View scheduled comments' section. Please note that only the comment owner can see their scheduled comments before posting.

   

4. Scheduled comments can be edited, rescheduled, or deleted anytime before they are posted.

   

5. Once a scheduled comment is posted, it appears as authored by 'Smart Comments' in the native Jira comments. However, the original author's name is displayed within the' Smart Comments' tab.
