Slack Integration

Teams who use Slack can integrate Smart Time-off Notifications with the Slack Bot by the following steps:

1. Create your Slack App

2. Enable Incoming Webhooks

3. Create an Incoming Webhook

4. Copy the Webhook URL

5. Go to the Smart Time-off menu in the Manage Apps section

6. Select the Integration item in the left sidebar

7. Click the Add a Webhook button

   

8. Select the Webhook name and paste the Webhook URL

   

9. Enable the checkboxes for which type of notifications you want to receive the notifications into Slack: Requests notifications, Holiday notifications, or both.

10. Click the Add button to finish

11. Now the notifications will be shown in the Slack channel
