Criteria

Criteria is a set of conditions you wish for issues to meet. You can create it either on the Criteria page of the menu or in the Quality Analyzer Builder. To create Criteria on the Criteria page click on the ‘Create Criteria’ button, then you will see the creation dialog.

The first field is ‘Name’ where you need to enter at least 3 characters. It must not be empty as it is a required field.

The next field is ‘Description’, you can fill it however you like or leave it empty. We would like to recommend to use this field to help you distinguish different Criteria, taking into consideration that Criteria Names are not unique.

The third field is ‘Type’ where you specify the type of Criteria, which can be either ‘Check value’ or ‘Check relationship’. This field is a required one.

Check value

‘Check value’ type is used to check the values of the issue fields that you can choose in the ‘Field Name’ field. Next, you select one of the options provided by the ‘Comparison’ field and enter the value that you expect to see. Available Comparisons will vary depending on the field you selected.

·         ends with

·         greater than

Check relationship

In the ‘Check relationship’ type Comparison you can select issue types and statuses for non-subtask issues (Parent issue and Parent status). The same should be done for subtasks. This comparison checks if subtasks of those parent issues have the same status as specified. Subtasks of the type not included in Subtask status select will be ignored.

You can use search by Name, Creation date, Quality or Average quality to find the Criteria you need. You can use only one field to search by or several, for example, Name + Creation date or Name + Creation Date + Quality.

Enter the characters that are present in the Name of Criteria you are looking for into the Search field and/or set the date when it was created. As a result, you will receive all Criteria that contain specified characters in their name and/or were created on the date of your choosing. Please be informed that search by Name is case sensitive!

Sorting is possible by Name (alphabetical by default) or Created date (descending order by default).
